Quick fixes before you contact support
If something feels off, try these fast checks first. Most sign-in, sync, and loading issues can be fixed in under five minutes.

Fast reset checklist
- Refresh the page once before assuming the worst
- Try a private/incognito window to rule out stale storage
- Make sure your browser is updated
- Disable aggressive ad blockers or privacy extensions for one test
- Try a different network if the app refuses to load

1. I cannot sign in
- Double-check that the email address is typed exactly right
- If you used Google sign-in before, try the Google button again instead of email/password
- If your password might be wrong, use the password reset flow from the sign-in screen
- If you just created the account, check your inbox and spam folder for the confirmation email
2. The app opens blank or keeps loading
- Refresh once with a hard reload
- Open the app in a private/incognito window
- Clear site storage for fakarny.net, then sign in again
- Disable browser extensions temporarily and retry
- If you're on a school or company network, test from mobile data or another Wi-Fi
3. My data does not look updated
- Refresh the page and wait a few seconds for sync to finish
- Sign out and sign back in if your session looks stale
- Check whether you are looking at the same account you used before
- If the issue is specific to one lecture or exam, capture its title in your support message
4. Google sign-in is not finishing
- Allow popups or redirects temporarily for the sign-in attempt
- Try from the default browser on your device
- Disable strict tracking prevention or privacy add-ons for one retry
- If it still fails, use email sign-up/sign-in first and contact us with the browser name
5. Notifications or install prompts are missing
- Make sure browser notifications are allowed
- On iPhone, open the app in Safari and use “Add to Home Screen” manually
- On Android or desktop, look for the browser install icon in the address bar or menu
- If you denied permission earlier, re-enable it from browser site settings
6. What to send if you contact us
- Your device type and browser name
- What you expected to happen
- What actually happened instead
- A screenshot or short recording if possible
- The lecture, exam, or page name involved in the issue
